In 1997, our founder fatefully met a traveling businessman in Indonesia. Both were acquainted and saw the country’s inherent opportunity in the global furniture industry of the time. Sharing the same vision of bringing Javanese craftsmanship further onto the international stage, they set sight on the promising potential of Teak as their medium to elevate our living experience within public and private spaces worldwide. That vision led to the creation of what is now known as Java New Natural (JNN).
